Court orders new trial for UNH fatal

Nashua man whose conviction for hitting and killing a fellow University of New Hampshire student has twice been reversed will be tried again, Strafford County Attorney Thomas Velardi said Thursday.

Whittaker’s lawyer, Richard Lehmann of Concord, declined to comment on the case Thursday. Lehmann also represents a former Nashua man who is suing Nashua Police for prosecuting him for negligent homicide.
